So my poor little dog Buddy had a really painful neck which turned out to be a disk problem high up on his spine... Was referred here by my vet... Totally amazing... Met by 2 amazing receptionists who were welcoming, helpful and empathetic. Then met Jack, what a guy. This man really knows his stuff and was so amazing with my little dog Buddy. Then there's the nurses who are caring for buddy in his initial recovery and are keeping me up to date with all the relevant info and photos too.

We cannot thank the team at Christchurch Veterinary Referral enough for the incredible care they provided to our dog during his recent TPLO surgery. A massive special thank you to Jacek for his exceptional surgical expertise and care. Knowing our boy was in such skilled hands gave us so much peace of mind during a very stressful time. The entire team, from the wonderful receptionists who greeted us with such warmth to the nursing staff who cared for him post op, was remarkable. Their clear, frequent communication and expert guidance kept us calm throughout the whole process and made all the difference. Our boy is now doing well and is on the road to recovery. We are grateful to Jacek and the whole team at Christchurch Veterinary Referral and we couldn't recommend them more highly!

Nothing but praise for all the team, our vet referred us here for consultation. All of the team were so kind and helpful. The initial appointment booking was easy. Got text updates during the day which was reassuring. They took care of my insurance for me, all scans completed etc and fortunately Loki doesnt need the surgery we expected which is a relief. However, did find another issue which we will need to keep an eye on. Shane Morrison the vet is out of this world, very kind and gave me atleast 30 mins to explain everything. Nurses were all kind and talkative. Ample parking. Really flexible. Will 100% use again but hopefully wont need to. Receptionists were helpful and friendly from the outset. I dont understand other reviewers commenting on money/costs, its private healthcare, like it or not, having been places without NHS its absolutely no different. Its why we have to be responsible and pay for a decent insurer that pays out and does pre-authorisation claims. But honestly the team are amazing. Thank you so much!

No one wants to need the services of a referral vet, but when you do Christchurch offer an amazing caring service. From their front of house staff, to the nurses, and especially the Vets all have been superb.

Didn't even manage to get through the door! My vets referred my dog as urgent, it was late afternoon so didnt expect to be in that day but not even a call. I had to call them at 10am the following day as still nothing, rude receptionist told me they would call back. When they called back they were more interested on if he was insured, if so how much, and that they wouldn't consider seeing him unless my insurance provider pre authorised the amount! At a time when a pet owner is most vulnerable and worried sick their was no compassion at all! I've heard wonderful things about the vets themselves, so please dont let that put you off, but my goodness the reception staff could do with some lessons in compassion and how to speak to people during a call! I wont be using their services!

Without a doubt Christchurch are the absolute best when it comes to orthopaedic surgery. My spaniel has just undergone his second cruciate repair and the staff go qnove and beyond to keep you updated and reassured at all times.

My beautiful boy Tumble has just spent 4 days here to have an operation on his parathyroid gland.He is 14 yrs old and was worried if we were doing the right thing.Shane was absolutely amazing he spent ages explaining everything.4 Days later my boy doing fantastic.We cannot thank Shane and his wonderful team from the nurses to reception team for taking such good care of him and keeping us updated every day.We are so very grateful.Shane you are worth your weight in gold .Thankyou from Tumble and us x
