No one wants to need the services of a referral vet, but when you do Christchurch offer an amazing caring service. From their front of house staff, to the nurses, and especially the Vets all have been superb.

Didn't even manage to get through the door! My vets referred my dog as urgent, it was late afternoon so didnt expect to be in that day but not even a call. I had to call them at 10am the following day as still nothing, rude receptionist told me they would call back. When they called back they were more interested on if he was insured, if so how much, and that they wouldn't consider seeing him unless my insurance provider pre authorised the amount! At a time when a pet owner is most vulnerable and worried sick their was no compassion at all! I've heard wonderful things about the vets themselves, so please dont let that put you off, but my goodness the reception staff could do with some lessons in compassion and how to speak to people during a call! I wont be using their services!

Without a doubt Christchurch are the absolute best when it comes to orthopaedic surgery. My spaniel has just undergone his second cruciate repair and the staff go qnove and beyond to keep you updated and reassured at all times.

My beautiful boy Tumble has just spent 4 days here to have an operation on his parathyroid gland.He is 14 yrs old and was worried if we were doing the right thing.Shane was absolutely amazing he spent ages explaining everything.4 Days later my boy doing fantastic.We cannot thank Shane and his wonderful team from the nurses to reception team for taking such good care of him and keeping us updated every day.We are so very grateful.Shane you are worth your weight in gold .Thankyou from Tumble and us x

Outstanding!! We rehomed our French bulldog & he had to have TECA on both ears due to neglect from the previous owner. They helped us with cost & took care of our boy. Sent us pictures once he had recovered from anaesthetic. They explained everything in detail & went through the plan thoroughly. So impressed with the after care also. Will always recommend.

Shane and his wonderful team have operated on Nellie, our 1 year old little Italian Greyhound 4 times. The care the team at Christchurch have given to her has been nothing short of exceptional. The expertise and knowledge of all the vets and veterinary nurses is remarkable and their after care is faultless. Even the reception staff are wonderful, they are so welcoming, empathetic and helpful. We will always be truly thankful for the help and support Christchurch has given Nellie and us as a family.

recommend by quite a few people for an operation on our dog who needed luxation patella surgery on both knees. gone well, I would go back again if more surgery is needed. Nice people and very friendly.
